Use for lightning protection
Seems very well built and mounted up just fine to my ADSB antenna. Very little difference in signal strength, very little loss. Hopefully it’s never used, but I feel confident it will serve its purpose if a strike hits.

Great Product and Great install
So far so good. Checked inside to make sure everything was in place and not lodged in a corner.Install waz a breeze and total time to install them into my pre existing hook up along with running the grounds to the outlets ground took about 40 minutes max including finding tools.Shouldnt be hard as long as you look up your connector ends on your cables to make sure everything will hook up correctly.1 being end type, being the tiny tiny SMA or F type or Standard coax or that HUGE connection called N type.2 being the Male or Female hookup you will need or maybe a conversation end separately to be able to hook it up.Once your locked in on what you need its easy from there on out, couple or pliars and flat head screw driver making sure not to overtighten the ground screw.

So far, so good
Easy to install, good heft, gas capsule is easy to change.I do not know if it will even fault to ground, because I haven't had a nearby lighting strike .If I ever do, I'll update this review.

COAXL Lightning Arrester
Not yet installed but I have checked it with my multi-meter and it appears that it will do the job. I will be using a larger wire lug as the one supplied will not accept a 10 GA grounding wire.

Perfect
Haven't installed yet, I have been busy but they ask for a review and they seem to appreciate your business. The item was shipped perfectly, the item is very well made, and should do the job perfectly.

Discharge units like these help protect against the full strike ⚡
lightning flashes produced by storms start inside the cloud. If a lightning flash is going to strike ground, a channel develops downward toward the surface. When it gets less than roughly a hundred yards of the ground, objects like trees and bushes and buildings start sending up sparks to meet it. As the channel increases severely enough, the small gas discharge tube will weld the center line to the ground, hopes are to prevent the main strike from coming through, by instantly grounding the center conductor to the ground. These units pay for themselves if they do actually prevent the main strike. I use this unit on my very large vertical 80 meter antenna. And if I have time of course I disconnect but hey you're not always home, and you might forget 🤪. So get one for your antennas ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
