Don't leave the surface wet when you're done - try to remove all the Wow until the surface feels totally dry to remove all the Wow with a clean portion of the towel. I waited a couple hours before then applying Black Wow - and again used the same procedure so as not to leave any residue that might run, especially if it got wet. Great stuff.
