Super strong tape
I used this to stick a very wrinkled jute rug in place onto carpet.It works amazingly well and was simple to use, the directions say to stick to carpet first but I stuck it around the edges of the rug instead so I could guarantee the best fit.It is very sticky so be patient and line up your edges carefully, the backing paper is a bit tricky to remove but other than that I'm extremely happy with the results.

Great grip
Six months later the chair mat is rooted to the carpet and hasn’t moved.

Rugs are still slipping
This is easy to use but my rugs are still moving so I’m constantly having to adjust them and replace the tape. One strip adhered firmly to the carpet and not the rug and I couldn’t get it off, but heating it up finally removed it with the help of some tweezers.
