A: The inside is cotton lined material, and it keeps me warm all day long. I use it for work, and I'm outside in the elements for 8 hours per day. Q2. Is there a conceal and carry pocket on the interior of this jacket? A: No interior pockets. However, exterior chest pockets both will comfortably and subtlely store a handgun no problem. I keep a baton, knife and kubaton in those 2 pockets alone and they are very accessible and it is not obvious from the outside that they are there, as the jacket hides them well. There is also an exterior pocket on the lower back area that is perfect for a handgun, albeit a smaller one. FUNCTIONS This men's softshell jacket is light weight and please wear additional layers of clothing to make the coat work together. The material is waterproof so it is convinent even work in a rainy day outside. The hood is really large which provides great coverage for my head and face against the wind, sun and rain.
