Great solution for street parking. Realistic red light blinking.
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately I live in a place where street parking can be a little sketchy. I have older cars and wanted to give the appearance that they were armed at all times even though I often remove the batteries from them entirely when they're not being driven for long periods. Due to that, I didn't want to buy anything that required using the battery as it would kill it pretty quickly in those circumstances. That's how I found out about these.First, these are a pretty good value for the money. There is a four pack which was perfect for us because we have four vehicles ranging from years '75 to 2013.I was impressed with how small and unobtrusive they are. They give good functionality because they're pretty convincing and require no outside power source since they solar charge. I think they'll last a long time because just blinking one small LED every once in awhile requires very little power. Very easy for the solar panel on these to do. They've also made them mostly black so unless someone's looking at it really closely it does look similar to what a car with a functioning alarm looks like.I believe you are meant to put these in an area of the car where the alarm light might be. They come with a double stick strip on the back of them to facilitate that purpose. I have one car where the theft light blinks every once in awhile near the odometer. However, I wanted to make it a bit obvious that something was added to the vehicle as far as security goes, so I decided to place them far up on the front dash. I also feel that this placement would enable them to charge. I just love how I could just set them there and not worry about it since they can charge through the windshield glass. Or at least I am assuming they can since they haven't shown any signs of not working at this point despite being in a shady area. Because I just set them on the dash. I didn't use the double stick tape and so far it's fine. The light is bright enough to definitely be noticeable that there is something going on with the vehicle. The fact that it blinks every once in awhile draws more attention than if it were a steady-on light in my opinion. It's also more similar to what the default car alarm systems look like. The look of these is similar to what the picture shows except the light only comes on once every 10 seconds or so (I didn't count but it seems it's somewhere around there.)Anyway, as a potential deterrent, it's certainly a lot cheaper than an aftermarket car alarm system and doesn't require anything extra and won't run down any battery. The manufacturer states that you can also plug into these for emergency power as well as they have a port on them for this purpose. However, I have not tried to do this and I am curious how much power they could realistically output. For my purposes, I'm only using them as a fake alarm and think it's a pretty cheap way to achieve that goal.

Should be effective as a deterrent and you get 4 of them.
I picked up this 4-pack of blinking red LED devices as a low-cost way to enhance perceived security around my vehicles, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. They're compact, lightweight, and don’t require wiring or batteries thanks to solar charging. I placed them on the dashboard, and they automatically blink once it gets dark, giving off a convincing look of a functioning alarm system. The blinking pattern is subtle enough not to be distracting but noticeable enough to draw attention—just what you'd want in a deterrent. I appreciate that they’re easy to install with the included adhesive, and the fact that they power themselves makes them incredibly low-maintenance. While I wouldn’t rely on these as a real security system, they do exactly what I wanted: act as a visual deterrent. For what they are and the price, I think they’re a solid value.

Surprising and impressive
I have a pretty basic alarm system on my car and home so got these for a little extra protection and have been pretty impressed. Very affordable. Units are sturdy and well made. Having both the solar and USB charging options makes them usable 24/7 anywhere. The red light is very visible while the body of the unit is easy to conceal. I also appreciate the option of using/not using the stick down feature. I’ve used it on the one in my car and it sticks well; stays in place but not so cemented down so tight that removal will cause damage. These are also great to move around; I’ve used them in our RV, on hotel windows and various home windows. The peace of mind I got with these, especially during travel, was surprising and well worth it.

skip it...for night time ONLY
For night time only...that should be in the title NOT buried in the details. Alarms work day and night...not just at night. I would recommend looking for a light that runs 24/7 with a shutoff (this one does have that). blicking at night while driving will "drive" you nuts...

Nifty and Useful Deterrence
Grabbed a four pack of these to put one in all of our vehicles as we occasionally rotate cars and sometimes they end up outside the garage. They do the job with little effort from the family members as they are charged via the attached solar.💓 Things we love 👇🚘 Gives off a realistic flashing red light indicative of a security system.☀️ Solar charging is a huge plus as there is less, if any requirement to physically charge.🚨 The red light does not flash when the solar panel has light on it. I like this because it means it won't be on during the day and will come on when it gets dark. This could be a con if you park under street lamps or bright places. Don't forget to turn it off before you start driving at night!🪛 Install is super quick with the double-sided tape and a flip of the power switch.🏷️ Price for four of these is pretty good for the added deterrence measure.😐 Things that were meh 👇⭐ None! Simple and effective for what it is advertised as.

Looks like a toy
Looks like a toy. Not sure if it gets the job done, but it looks like a toy to me. Good brightness and adhesiveness, but outside of that, wish there were more functions.
