Nothing Like Honda
The engine guards arrived fairly soon and I installed them in half an hour. They look very nice on the bike, not intrusive, matches the lines of the engine. Some commenter had concern about the rear attachments which are not very strong but it doesn't affect the usefulness of the guards, since the impact would push the bars onto the frame which would absorb it. He also worried about the marks the clamp may cause to the frame. That is a superfluous concern. Could be stronger for sure, like the SW Motech but they don't have chrome or stainless steel. They will do the job for a moderate spill but I am more concerned with the aesthetics; I don't like obnoxiously protruding bars. i am happy and recommend it to perfectionists.
