Review: Customer service is horrible. Just a simple design issue that they do not seem to care about. - Cascade customers service is horrible. I’m shifting to Jetboil. Arrived with the plastic bowl, wedged up under the protective shroud. Unless you plan to carry a screwdriver while hiking, it is unusable. Unfortunately, nothing wrong with the burner, but cascade MSR customer service does not want to talk with you. Obviously a design flaw. When I finally got it loose it re-wedged itself the first time I put it in a pack. Would require a tighter fitting Stroud and a bowl with a slightly larger lip to prevent this from reoccurring. Unfortunate as I feel that MSR products are overall pretty good. But they are a horrible company to deal with and have lost me as a customer.

Cascade customers service is horrible. I’m shifting to Jetboil. Arrived with the plastic bowl, wedged up under the protective shroud. Unless you plan to carry a screwdriver while hiking, it is unusable. Unfortunately, nothing wrong with the burner, but cascade MSR customer service does not want to talk with you. Obviously a design flaw. When I finally got it loose it re-wedged itself the first time I put it in a pack. Would require a tighter fitting Stroud and a bowl with a slightly larger lip to prevent this from reoccurring. Unfortunate as I feel that MSR products are overall pretty good. But they are a horrible company to deal with and have lost me as a customer.
