Would advise you spend a few more dollars and get a different projector **Q: Does it have to be on clear plastic paper, or can it be from a coloring book?** A: Pictures from a sheet of paper will NOT show up on the screen or wall. You'd have to trace the outline of the picture with whatever details you want included onto clear film and then lay the clear film on the glass of the projector.
