I tested on a few of my dryers at home - the elastic band will stretch to accommodate my 2" dryer, but my 2 1/2" dryer does not. I would say that a 2.5" barrel at the nozzle will be a very difficult fit for this new DevaFuser and I would not recommend it." **Q: What type of blowdryer does this fit?** A: Found a dryer that fits. I just bought a Conair Infiniti Pro 1875 watt dryer. It is orange and retails at about $34.99. I got it at Rite-Aid but it is widely available online. The barrel is 2" in diameter and a circumference about 6". The barrel is also long enough to accommodate the petal and stretchy band design of the deva fuser. It also has low/high blower speeds and cool/warm/hot settings with a separate cool shot button. I've used it three times on low/cool and it didn't melt or damage the diffuser. **Q: I really want to try the diffuser but see a couple of reviews that state their MELTED. What is the warranty like if it does in fact melt?** A: First of all I would like to say that applying HOT air in your curls is not a good idea. You must use cool or warm air to prevent the unwanted Frizz! With this in mind, I am sure you wont have to think about this. ´This is a styling device not a dryer, so use it when your hair is 60-80% DRY, not before! I´ve been using mine and it is really an amazing product. You'll see the difference in your curls!!! TRUST me!! 40 years of experience backs me up! **Q: does this fit the Sedu 6000i blow dryer** A: If your blow dryer has a 2" barrel - which MOST modern ones actually DO, the Devafuser is not going to fit.
