That said I have several older Cole Haan shoes that still wear very well. I liked this boot over 2nd choice, the LL Bean Moc, it was cheaper by $10 but CH won out. Only wish the toebox was slightly narrower for a sleeker look. Fit is true, width standard, as we all know this boot would have been $50 bucks less just a few years ago. Made in India, typical painted leather but so far a very comfortable boot. You might find an Allen Edmonds sale for a similar Moc toe but likely more $$$ but a better boot for it. All in all, a solid boot and happy buyer.
