I tried some blue night light sticky paper combo and it didnt catch a single fruit fly. This was one third the price and got the job done. The construction is a bit flimsy. The top doesnt screw on or off, you need to push in the lower half and twist the top to remove. Push the top down to secure. I would have gone with a proper thread mechanism to avoid spilling the bait and any dead fruit flies. Im used to apple cider vinegar, so it only smells when you get up close. The squeeze bottle with nozzle makes adding bait easy with out removing the top. Recommend for small infestations. You can refill with apple cider vinegar and a drop of dish soap. I have seen them used in bars where the fruit flies are attracted to the sugars in the liquors. Especially nice since they don’t look like they are hanging out due to a bug issue 😳.
