These picks combine a smaller profile, enhanced grip, and beveled edges for superior control, speed, and bright articulation—perfect for hard-charging riffs and live performance visibility. ## Description As one of the greatest riff masters of all time, James Hetfield needs gear that performs as monstrously as he does—picks included. When he came to Dunlop looking for a pick to meet his high standards, we worked closely with him to create a solution that keeps up with and even enhances his performance. We used the Flow Standard Pick 1.0mm as our starting point. The thrash titan put it through a full battery of tests on the road and came back to us with the tweaks and adjustments he needed to make it just right. First, we incorporated the Black Fang Pick's blended beveled edges for a super snappy attack that rings out with bright articulation, ensuring that every note and chord makes an impact through all that speed and gain. Next, we made it a bit heavier, going to 1.14mm—not normally available in the standard Flow Pick line—for the perfect balance between mass and articulation. Lastly, we enhanced the grip, creating a custom pattern so that the pick stays put when Hetfield digs in. “The White Fang Pick has amazing grip when sweating from heavy riffing, and a smaller profile to go faster,” he says. “Plus, the white is easier to see when they get thrown into the crowd.” ## Features - Combines the specially engineered shape of Flow Picks with Hetfield’s Black Fang Pick - Small profile and low profile grip provide superior control - Blended beveled edge allows pick to glide across strings - Wide angle and sharp tip focus attack - Perfect for Hetfield’s hard-charging riffs ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0GPB59LZN | | Best Sellers Rank | 9,877 in Musical Instruments & DJ ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ ) 301 in Picks | | Body Material Type | Celluloid | | Brand Name | Jim Dunlop | | Colour | White | | Compatible Devices | Guitar | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (5) | | Guitar Pick Thickness | 1.14 millimeters | | Included Components | 6 picks (various gauges: .73, .88, 1.0, 1.14, 1.14, 1.4mm) | | Manufacturer | Jim Dunlop | | Manufacturer Part Number | PVPPH122 | | Material Type | Celluloid | | Model Name | White Fang | | Model Number | PVPPH122 | | Number of Items | 6 | | Number of Pieces | 6 | | Product Warranty | . 1. | | Set Name | Hetfield's White Fang™ Custom Flow® Pick Variety Pack | | Size | Extra Large | | Sound Profile | Bright | | Style | Custom Flow | | UPC | 710137145122 | | Unit Count | 6 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Jim Dunlop - **Colour:** White - **Guitar pick thickness:** 1.14 millimeters - **Material:** Celluloid - **Size:** Extra Large ## Images ![James Hetfield's White Fang™ Custom Flow® Pick Variety Pack - 6 Pack (PVPPH122) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71a3eEwae6L.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.bo/products/811071340-james-hetfields-white-fang-custom-flow-pick-variety-pack-6](https://www.desertcart.bo/products/811071340-james-hetfields-white-fang-custom-flow-pick-variety-pack-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Bolivia* *Store origin: BO* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
