**Q: country of origin?**
A: Google states that Goya originates in Spain. But many of their beans are grown in the USA.

**Q: $10 per pound?**
A: I paid $6/lb at the beginning of March.  Perhaps there's been a run on them since?

**Q: Is it true that these beans cook in 8 minutes and no soaking?**
A: Not sure where you heard that. Even in a pressure cooker it takes 30 minutes..

**Q: Am I correct in seeing 3 bags for $28.00? More than $9 per 1# bag?**
A: I bought these at the beginning of March and paid $18.00 for three 1-lb bags.    Yes, it's higher than you'd pay in the supermarket.
On the other hand I was buying beans for my emergency pantry and not too fussy about the price.
