The new harness has the upgraded wiring for my scenic mk2 and splits the current between 2 wires to stop it from overheating and melting. It doesn't take long and all you'll need it a soldering iron and some heat shrink tubing. I hope this helps ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All good *by N***L on 17 December 2024* Works how it should, the connecting plugs are a god send as when the blower motor resister card fails it generally burns the plugs, would recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This cured our Nissan Note heater fan problem *by T***O on 15 January 2025* This was fitted to my Nissan Note, 2011 vintage. Having had similar ‘symptoms’ in the past with car heaters on different models not working or rather the blower fan not so doing, I basically knew/had a feeling that it would be the motor resistor that was at fault. They either work or they don’t - it’s that simple. So it was a process of elimination as start with the resister replacement (I have never come across a process so far for the layman to use, or try, that can determine if it has failed or not) but this at less than twenty quid, at the time of writing this review, seemed ideal - more so when compared with Nissan dealer prices. It arrived quickly via Amazon (thank you!) and following videos on YouTube and comments online I took the glovebox out - held in by 5 crosshead type screws - and then spotted the resistor, held in by two accessible 2 x size 20 Torx fitting screws holding it in. Carefully removed the two (colour Green) plug connecters with a small flat bladed screwdriver, then wiggled the old resister out. Replacement was a reverse. Before I screwed it in, I switched the heater on and yes! - it worked! Then I switched it off once confirmed it had cured it, then screwed it in followed by the glovebox. Job done. It took about 20 or 25 minutes all in and that was ‘venturing into the unknown’ but suspect a mechanic could do it in about ten minutes at a guess. I have included a photo of the connectors on the old one and judging by comments online, you will note the discoloration (and distortion) on the far right side, two pin section that one is slightly discoloured at the base as apparently they overheat over time so I am lead to believe. Otherwise a nice item as yes, we have heat back once more! Hope the above is of help. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely try if your heating has gone in your Nissan note *by K***Y on 14 April 2025* So glad that I done a little research and found out that this could be the problem with my cars heating not working. So thought why not give it a go.
