Review: Good for small cameras... SLR's, not so much - This is not a bad little unit... It worked fine with my PEN (EP-M1 with kit lens). The leg sections locked very tight and there was very little flex when extended. I like the latch hook and wrist strap as well as the minuscule weight. BUT I bought this expecting that the 6 lb rating was what the ball head could hold steady in any position. I didn't find that to be the case - When I screwed on my Oly E-3 with 12-60 lens attached (3.6lbs per my kitchen scale), I couldn't crank the head tight enough to hold it steady... and FORGET sideways in portrait position.
