This long so to put it short it's pretty good
This game is very fun and you really should play it.It's not fun unless you can see the players in 3-D like you can in this game. It's very easy to win. The Team Management is really good. The only difference to Fifa Manager 06 is the Team Management. The features they say are in it are in it. Like these ones for example: Control is everything in the world of football management, and this year FIFA Manager 07 provides all the tools you need to make it to the big time.In the Office: Stay abreast of your career options by keeping an eye on rival teams' interest in you using the new Manager Transfer Market. In the Dugout: Take your club to the next level with a more detailed transfer system. Sign cooperation agreements with other clubs to share players and resources and take responsibility for your four youth teams. On the Field: Extend your influence onto the pitch by training a player and taking control of him during matches and by using advanced tactical changes and substitution options on-the-fly.With an enhanced and user friendly editor system, upgraded player AI and polished match presentation, FIFA Manager 07 boasts stunning levels of realism that will have you sweating it out in your office awaiting the Chairman's dreaded vote of confidence! So the game is good

Disappointed
Disappointed in yet another 3D football game that doesn't take any notice of your instructions to the team. Change from long ball game to short ball game, change from defensive mode to attacking mode and the team plays the way it always does. Perhaps I just have a rebellious side or I have no influence on my star players. Whatever it is,it is now packed away with previous disappointments and I am back playing Total Manager 2005 which does allow you to advise your players and who surprisingly enough do try to adapt to a change of tactics. That doesn't mean I always win or that it is sour grapes regarding the other games I have played..

Not as Good as Football Manager
I recently played this game at a friends house, and was very dissapointed.Having read the other reviews, I was expecting something spectacular, but what I found was a joke.Pros:The only part of this game that I enjoyed was watching the matches, it was a welcome change from FM where all you have are tiny dots, which run around the game, but are very realistic in the way they play (i.e. the passing, tackling, dribbling, shooting, etc). The Fifa players looked better, and played reasonably realisticly, and i enjoyed having your own player.Cons:Firstly it is way too easy to win with any team, for instance i was Brentford, and won all the leagues up till the premiership, which i came 7th in.It takes very long to get used too, and the attributes are not very clear. It also underrates how much it would cost for a player, and which clubs would sign who (e.g. in our game Chelsea signed: Kaka, Ronaldinho, Adriano, and Puyol, all of whom are very unlikely to go there). All in all a dissapointment, and a pretty awful game, which has no chance against the mighty FM 07, and isn't even as good as CM 07

Bigger & better than ever before
Footy management sims are kind like Marmite, you are either in the fan club and madly in love with them or you hate them with all your living soul.IMO FIFA Manager (aka LFP Manager in France, Fussball Manager in Germany or Total Club Manager in Spain) is probably the most user friendly of all the footy management sims without selling out and just being a shell of a game that you will see through after a few hours.Being an EA title is has all the licences that you can shake a pointy stick at (and growing, this year they added even more lower leagues from around Europe). Not only that the game also comes with a nifty and easy to use data editor so you can keep you database up to date with the latest signings or just modify the exist data as you see fit. Or if you can't be bothered with the extra hassle just download the databases that other users will modify. The 3D engine makes this game stand out from other games in this genre but as you get engrossed into this game you will probably opt to review you matches via text or instant result mode just due to time constraints (keeping the luxury of the 3D mode for key matches). This year you can also take control of a player in a 3D match via Player Career mode. The idea is you train him and develop his skills up until he's worthy of a slot in your starting 11. Then showcase those skills on the field by taking control of him in 3D Match Mode. Alternatively, increase your Manager Rating to control a different player every game in Match To Match mode. Toi take full advantage of this you really need a joypad and it helps if you know the FIFA action game controls as they are almost identical. The youth squad has been bumped up as well to 4 age groups so make sure you invest in them if you want to reap the rewards later on in the game. One top-tip is when you start the game (at least in English) defalt the options to Star Ratings for the players, IMO this is a lot easier to get to grips with. The full on stats are really only for the hard core games out there. This game really is the mutts nuts of footy management sims, get it now.
