The Krama (kroma) (which means scarf in Khmer) is an iconic fashion accessory that has become a staple in dress codes for children, men, and women. The Krama holds significant value, accompanying Cambodians daily in their tasks. It's a symbol for Cambodia but also an inheritance, and the French brand Krama Krama aims to perpetuate this heritage from generation to generation, both in France and in Cambodia. Every scarf from the brand Krama Krama is handcrafted in a weaving workshop in Siem Reap, just a few kilometers from the majestic temples of Angkor. This workshop trains young underprivileged women in the weaving profession and pays them fairly. Moreover, for each scarf sold, Krama Krama donates 10% of its amount to the Sala Baï school in Siem Reap and to the NGO Agir Pour le Cambodge, which provides free training each year to over 100 Cambodian students in hospitality, catering, and well-being professions.
