We have twin toddlers so we needed something sturdy yet attractive. This lamp is great. It looks nice, is the perfect lamp for a sectional, and has a heavy base so small children can't move it. It's a bit on the expensive side but the quality is great. You really do get what you pay for.***Update 01/20/2017 - We've now owned this lamp for over two years and never once have we regretted our purchase! We use this lamp for several hours a day and the lights haven't burned out yet. I love the fact that we can adjust the brightness of the lights to suit our needs and it's easy for our twins (now almost four) to turn on as well. This lamp has also been very durable around our twins since they stand on the base, touch it, turn it on, and try to move around the lights. Nothing has broken on it and it's still in excellent condition. If you are looking for a modern, stylish, and durable lamp for your house, I highly recommend this one. It costs more than some other similar lamps but it's been well-worth the investment for us. It's worth it to spend the extra money!

Excellent craftsmanship & quality materials. A cinch to assemble by myself. LED lamps are such a ripoff, since the whole lamp must be discarded once the bulbs die. This arc lamp is a good investment since bulbs can be replaced; the next best thing to recessed lighting. Sculptured like a work of art. 5 lights is too big for my space so I only use 2, and it still lights my whole house. Love the dimmer and adjustable heads. I also appreciate the shades since looking at exposed light bulbs hurts my eyes. It’s perfect!

It arrived on time and in excellent condition. The package was difficult to open, but it did its job of protection well. The lamp went together easily - according to the instructions. I used a ratchet, instead of the supplied wrench, for the base bolt. I was concerned about cross-threading and stripping the bolt, but after spraying with silicone lube, the bolt tightened up fine. The screw hole for the upper section was in the wrong place, but the awl in my Swiss Army Knife came in handy. Make sure you drive that screw in straight!I installed LED bulbs, instead of the incandescent ones supplied by Artiva. The lamp is big, so it matches the scale of our living room, and lights up the room well - providing enough light for my wife to do detailed knitting without any problems. The lamp is slightly too big for our dining room area, but we may put one in there, anyway, since it allows my wife to illuminate the dining room table well enough to cut sewing patterns and work on projects without mistakes due to lack of illumination. We are very happy with this lamp!Update 19Dec2015: Replaced the 40 Watt Led's with these: (6-PACK) 6-Watt Dimmable Daylight White 5000K LOHAS® LED Chandelier Bulb,60-Watt Incandescent Bulb Equivalent,E12 Candelabra Base,550 Lumens LED Light Note that the lamp will support three of these and two of the lower powered ones, but the difference is like - er - night and, you know...Wife can now do detailed knitting work with multiple dark colors at night. This is a great lamp!

While reading the reviews about the dimmer switch and light bulbs issues I almost did not buy this corner lamp, however, I only believe half of what I read and 100% of what I see. And I now see this is a very nice lamp, it is tall, sleek, and the soft lighting in room is very nice and dimmable. The reversible lamp shade is not for us in our dinning room but would be great in another room with higher ceilings. It stands tall in our corner and the 8' tall arc's are somewhat adjustable (left / right) and add to lighting coverage area's. While we are only in our 1st week of usage, currently I highly recommend this lamp but not from wayfair or other vendors...they were way more $$$$ than this one and the exact same specifications. JT R&R recommends this product...Updated on March 29th 2023, Bought this back in October of 2022 and so far it has performed very well. I now "highly" recommend this Lamp.March 10th 2023 update, this lamp is awesome, there are no light bulb or dimmer switch issues. Old reviews do not depict accurately the model I have. I still recommend this lamp, great coverage, fantastic look and love the dimmer and soft lighting it provides as well and full on lights that are very illuminating.

I have wanted a lamp just like this for years! It is perfect!! Arrived two days early completely in-tact. I easily put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. One page instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Definitely a classy upgrade for my apartment. Love that the arms are adjustable side to side, and that you can easily turn the shades to keep the light out of your eyes. One thing is that when I opened it and was counting the parts, I thought they forgot to include the hardware because I couldn’t find it anywhere! Then upon reading the instructions, there were only like 8 pieces of hardware needed, and they were already attached to the lamp pieces. SO SIMPLE. Would recommend. I am hoping it doesn’t quit working in an hour like a few of the reviews have mentioned… fingers crossed :)

Love this lamp. Easy to put together and looks great in our home. Arrived in a large box with all parts well protected. Bulbs are not standard but easily available at Home Depot. Dimmer feature is awesome.
