XtremepowerUS 425 sq ft Inground Pool Cartridge Filter In-Ground Swimming Pool and Spa Pool Filter System

I replaced my old diatomite tower, which had diatomite leeching into the pool, with this one. You don't backwash this type of filter so the multi position valve went also. The pool which had been hazy cleared in a day. I highly recommend this filter tower. The reason I gave "easy to clean" a 3, is because you can rinse off the filters and be back up and running. At some point you will have to deep clean the filters which is a process. Not a difficult process but can be time consuming.

I would have given this a 0 but that's not a choice. Beware, if you ever need parts and /or support for Xtreme products its not there. I'm shocked that Amazon supports this vendor. I needed replacement fittings because the plumbing is being redone on my pool. Xtreme doesn't support any parts and these are not common fittings that anybody has replacements for. Trust me I have spent hours trying to locate these all to no avail. When I contacted Xtreme I was told the unit is out of warranty and not covered. I mentioned I wanted to purchase the parts and they said they were discontinued. How can that be when you can still by this product. Save the aggravation and spend a couple dollars more and stay away from this company. I'm not sure you can buy filters for this product. Mine is so new I haven't needed filter yet, but I'll never know since this product is now useless.

I haven't had the same issues with cartridges yet with this, but it's kind of early to tell. So far we are super pleased

It does everything my former Pentair filter canister did at a bit over 1/2 the replacement cost. It’s made in China (where else?) & the Pentair is made in the USA. I’d like to support USA workers but w this crazy inflation I really had no choice. It works just as well, looks a bit better too! My ONLY gripe is that the filter replacement thst it holds isn’t articulated. I’ll pull a filter out and send some pics and a description to some pool filter replacement sellers so I’ll have a back up set. Other than that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this filter canister.

The top manifold that sits on top of the filters and directs water to the return is poorly manufactured, and will crack and split. The warranty is only good for 90 days and the replacement part cost $79.95.The filters that come with this are 35 1/2" long. You will not be able to buy filters anywhere other than xtremepowerus because the standard is 36" and they will not fit in this unit.I like everything else about the filter. It installed easily and came with everything needed for assembly . It is easy to drain and take apart to remove filters for cleaning. The top pressure gage/bleeder valve works well. I would have rated higher if the top manifold was better quality an designed to accept 36" filters.

Product arrived quickly but the box had been through UPS hell. One part was broken but the vendor quickly got a replacement part and now it works as it should. NO HASSLE at ALL1.

Not yet two years old, purchased April 2023. Worked great until today. Surprised to find this crack, never expected this to happen, How many more out there like this or am I just lucky?

We purchased this on April 28th, 2023 to replace our 13 year old filter tank. After functioning fine for less than 2 years, the seam on the top just burst.
