Q: Both the Epigen bags are listed as having exactly the same percentages of protein and fat (60% and 15% respectively) so why the claim of "more meat"

Because both have the same protein content but one has the added protein coming directly from animal (meat) protein , vs plant based ( 1 pt legumes to 2 pt seed ratio) ..
