A Great Buy but Get Ready For Some Hardcore Assembly Work
When the product itself is finished, it is an amazing sight to behold. This can hold all of the maps and pieces for all expansions of eldrtich horror and still have leftover room for any custom stuff you want to add to your game. This crate was a beast and half to assemble. It took multiple days, a ton of wood glue, gallons of patience, and a bit a stress when things didn't fit at first. Overall, it was a fun project to assemble but I would advice getting a bunch of rubber bands to keep things together as the wood glue hardens. The Achilles heel of this item is the carved out tentacle silhouettes along the top of the crate. During assembly I broke a few of them but it does not hinder the functionality of the item in any way. When assembled this was sturdy, amazing to look at, and keeps everything ridiculously organized. I would recommend this to anyone who is hardcore into Eldritch horror.

Pretty easy assembly, lots of space.
I am by no means a crafty person, but was able to assemble solo with few issues. Other reviews said 4 hours, my total time was a bit longer, but I stained every piece of the assembly, so some individual steps needed a whole day for all the parts to be prepped and dried before assembling.Only concern is the amount of open space/lack of dividers for the card sections. I have all the expansions and still have a lot of open spaces, but I also have cards grouped (like 2-3 ancient ones per section) because there are not enough dividers for each to have their own slots and as configured the sections would be impractically large. Plus side, it means plenty of room if there's ever more expansions.

It's awesome!! Important advice here, though!
First of all: I am super happy with this purchase! 100% worth every bit of money, time, and effort!Second: Some important advice for assembling this guy - you will need another person, a small rubber hammer (for wood projects), some wood glue, and I recommend some varnish. It took me and one other person about 4 hours to put it together without using any glue or varnish. The edges are a little frail in that tiny splinters on the rougher edges will catch and break off. If you are more careful than clumsy, unlike myself, you'll probably be fine. Putting a varnish on these will almost certainly help with that, though I wouldn't do that before assembly due to how snugly the pieces fit.You should definitely apply glue as you build, since you'll be hammering the pieces into place. After struggling to assemble the lid by hand, we looked at the video and saw they used a hammer, so that's how we figured that out. We elected to assemble it without glue and glue over all the joints and seams afterward. Probably not the best plan, but I've already done it and once these wooden pieces are fitted together you won't want to try to pry them apart again.Aside from lacking a "You will need..." section, the instruction book is pretty clear, just make sure you keep track of exactly what step you're on. We accidentally skipped a couple that would've been really upsetting had I already glued the pieces. I suggest popping out ALL the pieces for each step before putting that step together. There are also some pieces that are deceptively similar, but it is crucial you make sure you have the exact right one (especially if you're gluing as you go)!I'm going to have to take everything back out in order to go over all the joints with glue and then apply the varnish (and maybe some paints!), once I do I will likely update this review.

Holds it all!
Great storage for the entire game! Put a little bit of work into it and its a great piece that adds to the Eldritch Horror collection. I'm glad I got it!

Have 450 grit sand paper, good wood glue, and a medium rubber mallet handy when assembling.
It’s rather straight forward to assemble and you’ll know when you need the mallet. Each piece is attached to a frame and needs to be cut away from it, hence the sandpaper to smooth out the cut remnants. Otherwise, it took me about 4 hours to assemble.

Cthulhu Does NOT Approve!
Bit challenging to construct but I succeeded at last. Nice addition to the game!
