This is a good quality jacket and is well worth the $56 I paid for it.Pros: It appears to be well stitched with a good quality metal zipper that zips all the way to the top of the collar. The waist, neck and wrist cuffs are very elastic and wide so there are no tight spots around my wrist. I'm 5' 11" and 155 pounds and ordered a medium. This jacket fits perfectly. It's definitely full length in the torso with longer than normal sleeve length. I know this because I have trouble wearing off-the rack long sleeve shirts due to having long arms. The cuffs come all the way down to the heel of my hand. The fit across my chest and stomach is perfect. The style is kind of quasi-military with epulets on the shoulders. The jacket blocks the wind and between the thin liner and the outer shell, it's reasonably warm on a spring or fall day. The warmth and fit are important because I ride my motorcycle wearing it and a loose fit, short sleeves, or thin material won't keep my chest warm at 70 mph. So far it works well when I'm riding on a cool day. The zipper has a button-down flap covering it to keep wind and water from entering through the zipper itself.Cons: I don't know if it's waterproof or not. It doesn't look to be treated with anything on the outer shell and the stitching doesn't shou waterproof to me. The zipper pull is "on the wrong side" but I got used to it pretty quickly.Overall, it appears some care was taken during the design and production of this jacket. It's an outstanding product for the price in my opinion.

I was going to buy a very good condition vintage M-65 Army jacket but was hit by sticker shock. Assuming it holds up, in green, this is an excellent substitute. I washed it a couple of times on warm and am carelessly air-drying it to produce the desired rumpled effect like my Dad's old one. I might sew a "Peace" symbol on a shoulder. I know it's hardly a new idea. I still don't think a lot of people will appreciate the irony of an "Anti-War" war jacket, especially in today's political climate, but I do.

I've had this jacket for nearly a year now. It's a little heavier than I thought, but I LIKE it. It's lightweight enough to wear for 3 seasons if the winter isn't in it's colder stages (September - March). Plenty of pockets, fits well, keeps you reasonably warm and feels very high quality. Personally, I LOVE the style of the jacket, the zipper never seems to bind up and I have just fallen in love with this jacket.

I was looking for a replacement for my Sportier 1957 brand jacket, and was very fortunate to find and purchase this one! The outer fabric is similar to a soft denim which is just right for me. The epaulets are a bonus for me too!

I bought this because my other jacket with a zippered pocket is stiff and not too comfortable indoors. I wear it at a casino, so want protected pockets and light weight.This has two zippered pockets above the breast, just where I want them, and plenty of other pockets for whatever else. I keep cash, cashout tickets, & chips in the zipped, protected pockets.The price for this jacket is very reasonable, and so far, the workmanship has held up well. The zippers are a little stiff at times, but I think a little beeswax would help with that.I highly recommend this jacket for moderate situations. It's more than a windbreaker, but not by much, so don't count on it in cold situations, but in an air conditioned club, it fits the bill perfectly. And it's flexible, so it doesn't feel uncomfortable in a chair.

My all time favorite jacket, i had bought one a few years ago, however the new ones are slightly different, manufacturers should have stuck with the old material, gabe the inside of the jacket a better feeling, now it feels like they used cheaper material on the inside.
