The best gloves purchase I have made so far as an industrial truck rigger and carpenter.
I do not normally write reviews, let alone hype up a product, so take from that what you will.Tl;drBuy these gloves and you most likely will not regret it.Long versionPremise:I bought these for use at work. I am a carpenter who builds large shipping crates for industrial machines and products (radiation shields, cyclotrons, etc..), but I am also often assisting truck drivers and riggers at our company with loading and chaining/strapping down machines and products for deliveries and installation jobs. I have wanted a pair of 'dirty' gloves so that I can keep the wood clean from stains while still being able to rig trucks. I bought these to be tough, dirty gloves that provide protection from impact against machines and metal in the event I hit my hand, protect against abrasion from chains and splinters, and to maintain good grip on anything I do no matter how slick they may be from water, oils, etc..Protection:These gloves perform admirably and have saved my hands from what likely would have been cracked knuckles or broken fingers several times now. These gloves also allow me slide chains, straps, wood (broken, nail-ridden pallet pieces), and more without needing to worry about cutting myself in the process.Comfort/Fit:These fit my hands well and do not come off too easily on their own. They are 'tighter' where they need to be (around the knuckles to keep the fingers from sliding out) but loose were they should be such as around the wrist so that I can still move my hand freely.Somehow these gloves are incredibly easy to put on compared to others I have tried. When my hands have gunk, grime, water, oil, etc.. on them, I have found it hard to slide some gloves on but these glide on with ease and stay on until I say it's time to come off. It is very impressive how they managed to make gloves slide on so easily while having great security once on.Once on they are very comfortable. They feel snug to my hand but not so much so to feel constricting. The inner stitching does not rub against my hand like some Mechanix gloves like to do which was a nice upgrade for me.These gloves are the Hestra gloves of comfort in the rigging industry as far as I am concerned.Sizing:I bought a large pair of these gloves as I have a size 9 hand. These fit perfectly and I recommend following their provided sizing chart for finding a good fit.If it helps anyone, I wear a size 9 Mechanix glove and the fit transitions well here.Dexterity:Somehow these gloves, while not as dexterous as 'skin' tight gloves, retain a good amount of dexterity for their size and use case. While there is material around the finger that 'should' make it difficult to do precise work, I have found it very intuitive in using the tips of these gloves as if they were the tips of my fingers. I couldn't sew a pair of pants with these on, but I can easily thumb screw bolts and screws, pull on nails, replace bits in impact drivers, blades on saws, and much much more with ease. This was one of the most surprising aspects of these gloves for me.Grip:Yesterday I had a rigging delivery and had to load up a truck outdoors in thick, heavy pour rain. I was drenched as if I had jumped into a pool and these gloves retained grip to let me maneuver on and off the trailer without issue, as well as move chains and binders to secure forklifts, metal sheets, and pallets. Despite the rain flowing down my arm and into the space between my hand and the gloves, they remained well fit and did not slide off. Working in those conditions can make one feel like they are there to get s*** done and these gloves were just as eager--having no issues and doing their job well beyond expectations.Durability:Despite the beating they have received, they remain stitched together and all padding remains. This is seriously impressive as I do not go easy on these gloves at all. I bought them with the intention of replacing them every other week or month. All other gloves I have used before managed a week or two at most. The best gloves I had before were Mechanix gloves that lasted two weeks with several holes and an unusable finger by the end of it. These gloves have marched well beyond those other gloves in durability and, were it not for the stains, I could convince you they were brand new. Conclusion:I cannot recommend these gloves enough. I would probably be willing to pay even more for these gloves as they hit well above their price in quality. They are no drag and all speed. I can put these gloves on and do my job without having to worry about minor impacts, fearing a chain with a bit of rust cutting my hand as I slide it down to a worker off the end of a truck, or getting grabbed by a nail or staple on a broken piece of pallet.I bought another pair for the house and used them for yardwork, cutting down a tree, and clearing brush and these did extremely well for that job as well.Be it at home or work, if I need gloves to take a beating and I don't need to do extremely precise work, I grab these gloves and have confidence I'll still have hands for tomorrow's work.

Amazing relative performance for work gloves
I normally burn through a pair of Mechanix in a few weeks, high end work gloves might last me a couple months. These have lasted me two years with minimal holes, and even those spots are in non-contact areas.I use these for general rough handling of materials - wood and metals. General protection while metalworking and occasionally will leave them on for some light welding. I expected all the impact appliques on the back of the glove to start ripping off within a month but they're all going strong. The material of the glove palm seems to be actually fairly abrasion resistant, perhaps at the cost of some of the grip friction. Unsurprisingly, the little grip dots start to wear off pretty quickly. These are excellent general use work gloves, if your work doesn't require specific strengths that necessitate a heavy leather glove I'd recommend these strongly. Also, I have small hands and these are one of the few heavy-duty work gloves that are sized correctly.

Decent gloves
These gloves have been decent so far. I have no major complaints, I usually chew through gloves.I wish the fingers were a bit thinner but these are good gloves and you won't lose them anytime soon. If you buy this glove the fit chart should be good. If you buy the water proof gloves go up one size. The interior lay is a pain to get your hands in when even remotely damp.Overall decent.

Good gloves but not for working with large sheets of metal
I like the durability of KONG gloves, unfortunately i ordered these to work with metal and due to the plastic bits all over the palm side I had very little grip. The gloves also soaked up a lot of oil from the metal sheets allowing me to actually be able to wring out the oil that has been building up in the fabric. Pretty dissatisfied with these gloves for this use. But a solid 10 for durability, as i have let them float around the shop i work in and they may be dirty but there is very little damage considering the wear and tear they go through here.

Disappointed
5 days of use, padding is already ripping off,

Tough and comfortable
The gloves look good, fit well, and are very sturdy. They are not waterproof at all (I don't think they were meant to be.) I have not had them long enough to know about durability.
