Figure 9 The Lazy Man's Trucker Hitch
I purchased these to replace the cord on my tarp for my Clark Jungle Hammock. The green reflective is what i ordered. And the reflective is pretty bright. Great for when i tie my hammock tarp out in porch mode bc the guylines are about neck level and im always running into them. Now for the best part. The figure 9s that come with it. They are lightweight and strong plastic. I normally default to the truckers hitch knot for my ridgelines and guylines. The figure 9 is basically the same as a truckers hitch, but much much faster and easier. I have to order more, they came in a 4 pack and my tarp has 6 so i need more to properly stake it out when its windy. Buy them, no regrets.

Love these tie-downs!
These Figure 9's make guying out soooo easy. Super easy to adjust the tension and they hold tight. If you've ever had to adjust guy lines in crappy weather, you'll love the ease of use that these bring to the table. I have a dozen in my gear box for emergency use.

They are tiny
These things are tiny ltl plastic peices. Prob no bigger then a quarter. You can see them flex when you put some tension on them...should be good for holding your tent down but i am not using them for my tarp or ridge line..the large ones are 10 times better and i will buy more large ones..but will not buy any more of these tiny ltl plastic things

Life saver!
I took my family backpacking/ camping in the Channel Islands National Park, and I purchased these Figure 9's right before we left. Knowing that the islands have heavy winds (25 - 50 mph ) at times, known as sundowners, I thought these would probably be good to have just in case. Man was I right. On the first night as we were finishing setting up camp, the winds started to whip through all the campsites. The winds started at around 20 mph, but sped up to 45 mph in no time. I've camped in some pretty bad conditions before (e.g. heavy rain, snow, windy sleet, etc.), but I have never had the wind collapse my tent in on itself, until now. I tied guy lines on to the tent any where I could put them, pounded in stakes, and used the Figure 9's to cinch each line down. Using the Figure 9's made this process easier, faster, and more secure. I was really happy that I bought these. Especially, since I did not have a tent pole slapping me in the face all night. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is going camping in some rough weather.

Not exactly what I wanted but works
It works great for a multitude of things, but doesn’t work well for NDE. I used them to secure film to pipe with a bungee and after about 60 or so welds it broke. So I just changed it out. I think I should’ve ordered a larger one.

No more knots.
These make tying things down very easy. Theyre lightweight and very reflective. Although they will blend in to green surroundings a bit. I have around 12 of these things pre-tied to tarps, rainfly's, and a canopy. Very easy to use and you don't have to bother with knots. But you should learn that skill anyway!!!

No more knots!
Overall this is a must have for me. It makes setting up my rain fly incredibly fast and easy. No more re-tying knots in the middle of the night. They are incredibly sturdy and lightweight. Just pay attention to the size you are purchasing.
