Fit like a glove

A friend installed this, but I helped. He had no complaints. The muffler went right on with the new gasket and bolts. Now quiet. It's like nothing ever happened.

I purchased this muffler to replace the original one which had lasted more than 10 years. This replacement barely lasted 2.5 years.I'm not satisfied with the product claims: CORROSION RESISTANT STAINLESS STEEL and BUILT TO LAST.

Bolted right up, sounds good, excellent priceNeed to buy gasket and bolts.

Three years in and the whole area that bolts the resonator to the exhaust broke off. The whole surface of the muffler is spotted with rust. The size was perfect and went on nice and easy, was just as quite as the stock muffler. Just overall disappointed in how short this lasted. Before this I had the stock muffler from the dealership in 2012 up until 2022.

Bolts up like the original- car is quiet. Try to not snap off the spring bolts into the nuts ( and reuse them) on the connecting flange to the resonator as the nuts are tack welded on and are HARD to break off ( and then you have to use replacement spring bolts with nuts too). Instead use lots of penetrating oil and wiggle them back and forth carefully and slowly upon removal !
