Lots of light in a small package.
This is the first pair of driving lights I've used. My boss has the 240 blitz lights and I was so impressed with them I decided to get a pair of driving lights since I do a lot of night driving on highways with a lot of deer and moose.I have a bull bar on the front of my truck and decided to get the 170 striker HID's because I wanted as much light as possible and the lights needed to be compact enough to fit on the bar. My boss has his 240's mounted right onto the bumper of his truck. My buddy and I installed the lights on my truck, it took a few hours. I had a hard time trying to figure out where to mount the ballast and igniter. I ended up drilling some holes behind the mounting plate of the fog lights embedded in the front air dam and mounting the ballast to that. The igniter ended up zip tied underneath the rad since there is not much slack with the wires coming off the lights. I also bought the lightforce wiring harness kit too. The kit is adequate but the instructions are vague. We hooked everything up according to diagrams (I actually hooked up the switch wire to the parking lights instead of the high beams) but the lights would not turn on. The LED indicator on the light switch would turn on but the driving lights wouldn't. After contacting lightforce, they gave me a few suggestions but they didn't work. It turns out that the instructions are wrong and the wires go in different positions on the switch (instructions tell you to hook up both wires to the outside tabs, leaving the one in the middle untouched, but you need to hook one wire to the middle tab for it to work).Anyways, the lights work, the first time I needed them, I was able to see a moose in the ditch and slow down to avoid hitting him when he came up on to the highway. As far as I'm concerned the lights just paid for themselves.By my estimates, I'm able to notice a difference with the 170 HID's up to about 700 meters away. They throw off a pleasant whitish blue light that's easy on your eyes. You can adjust the beam pattern by twisting the reflector housing of the lights. The 170 HID's are very light weight, I've had them on my truck for about 2 months now and I spend a lot of time driving on bush roads. The lights have not loosened from the vibration and there is no damage from rocks hitting them while following behind other vehicles.Overall, I'm very impressed with these lights and would not hesitate to buy another set of these if I get another truck.

Amazed wit the performance..
This is the first time I am buying the LightForce lights. When I fit it in my car and switched on the lights.. I was like 'What the Hell..!!' [out of my amazed feeling]... every one of my friends are also so damned about the distance coverage and amount of light the came out of the lights...Only thing that is worrying me is there is a yellow shade on the top of the light beam.. couldn't be sure of why that comes and also I am searching for the experts here in India so that I can check with them on this.. other than this LightForce lights are really AWESOME... :D
