Perfect extension for extra-long vehicle.
The simple addition of a CatV double female let me position the RF enclosure 3 feet from the antenna, saving signal loss. Big difference in ERP, and no measurable audio loss to & from mic & spkr.Well done, Ed @ Import Communications.com.

You can use any Ethernet cable. This works, but for half the price I got a flat Ethernet cable I could tuck under my loom much easier than this. Save a few bucks!

It's just an ethernet cable.
There is nothing special about this cable. It's just a CAT5 cable that connects the RJ45 socket on the radio with the RJ45 socket on the faceplate. I build these all the time and they're readily available.
