GET IT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING
OKAY!! It is obviously SPICY AF. But in the best way possible. You gotta use a LOT of veg + protein per 1 packet to balance the flavour!! I usually use a 14" wok FULL of ingredients and use 1.5~2 packets. If you really need to tone it down a bit you can always put the liquid through a sieve and take some of the peppercorns out. This way your tongue won't be as numb. (lol) But you can't argue that it doesn't taste good BECAUSE IT'S GREAT!!! ALSO IT'S SO MUCH EASIER THAN MAKING IT FROM SCRATCH.

Received November 20, expires in 13 days (Dec 3)
Paid a big premium for something expiring, when these typically last 1-2 years.

Not 2 packs, 2 servings are included in 1 pack
There's a "2 pack" image which would make one think you get two packs for $15, but the reference is that there's two packages of sauce in the one package that you get for $15.

Not for wimps
I bought mine from the local supermarket instead of Amazon. This is a PROPER mala sauce that has a lot of dried chilli and a bit of the sour, numbing flavour from the Sichuan pepper. It's quite spicy even by Asian standards outside of the US, so don't buy it if kung pao chicken from Chinese takeout is your maximum spice tolerance. My advice to those who complain about the amount of oil (and it IS unnecessarily oily) is to pour the sauce into a bowl, skim off the chilli oil, and use part of that for frying. I fried a whole head of broccoli and other vegetables using half of the chilli oil from the sauce. Throw the rest of the oil away and use the thick black sauce component for flavouring the rest of your stir fry.
