800 Stereo Line Level Audio Amplifier Booster Amp for MP3, iPod, iPad, iPhone

I have a Pro-ject Debut Carbon attached to a Cambridge Audio Phono Preamp, with an MM Ortofon blue stylus. Sound quality is great but the volume was lacking. I had to turn the volume up but that brought very audible noise and made the quiet parts in records not fully enjoyable. I even bought another phono stage with a higher gain and still was not loud enough and introduced even more noise.Then I did some research and purchased this device. Placed it between the Phono preamp and the amplifier and now I have a good volume level with no distortion! The knob set at 1 o'clock gives me the loudness I was craving without noise! I wish I had known about this device years ago.

This definitely boosts the signal from a Bluetooth receiver going into a sound system.It was simple to set up.I connected with the supplied cables which are as cheaply made as possible but do the job. I then soldered up some custom length properly shielded interconnects after deciding where it got mounted.The sound quality is streaming over WiFi over Bluetooth good but not studio quality nor should it be for that price.It is noisy with the supplied cables. The process of amplifying a line level signal is not easy to do without introducing noise so I'm not upset for the price. Cheap inadequately shielded cables CAN be noisy depending on what you have around it, I knew that reading the reviews so I wasn't worried about the bad reviews. Some have noise (poor sound quality) because of the electrical interference in their house, I'm in a shop with chargers, compressors, led lights, and a machine that coats using static so good cables is a must for any audio equipment. Using the properly shielded cables made the noise virtually inaudible.

Use with my Sansa Clip to play audio files through my old school stereo system.No added noise and very clean amplified audio to the amp. You do have to crank up the volume a bit, 6 or more on the unit volume control.Nice build quality and it comes with its own power supply! You will probably want to order a 1/8” 3.5mm male x male patch cord allowing you to plug one end into the earphone jack and the other into the front panel jack. This item is not included.I swapped cables with some far higher quality one I had but frankly, there was no audible difference. Cable length is critical, so keep them short as possible.I am very happy with unit and it far exceeds my expectations.

It's got boost . I thought the signal going from my mixer to my avr was a little on the weak side . This fixed issue with reaching max volume for dialogue without having to mess with my.other equipment . Music is crazy loud but it took adjusting with this to watch stuff on my setup.

I was looking for a solution to amplify the sound from 4K pc monitor 3.5mm output to my powered studio monitors (speakers) using RCA male connectors without having to keep adjusting volume levels separately on each speaker.I ordered this little guy and it did the trick. It boosted the output from my pc monitor to my studio monitors(speakers) with ease while sitting at my desk.The sound is super clear with no coloration, humming/buzzing/radio frequencies or distortion. There is a ton of headroom. This guy turned to 11-12 o clock gets so loud that I have to turn my speakers down a notch. Mind you my speakers or amped to 45% of full volume. Very very impressive and blown away as I ordered a preamp before this from Amazon but returned it on day one delivery as it did very little to boost the volume to acceptable levels.The knob to adjust levels feels very solid and durable and so does the box it comes in. It’s very easy to use. Turning the volume knob counterclockwise causes the box to turn off and the opposite direction turns it on as well as boosting volume.So there’s no need to reach behind the box to flip a switch.The box also stays cool on my 3hrs of using it.Highly recommended if your trying to boost levels between an rca line device and an amplifier.I am very greatful to have found this device.

This could be a fine product if not for the poorly chosen power supply. Unit began broadcasting local radio stations loud and clear because the thin power supply wire had no shielding. Tried placing the wire through multiple ferite rings as a shield and even placed it on an extension cord moving the power supply in several locations... slightly fading noise still made this product inadequate for my audio use. Not willing to test it on another special power supply purchase, otherwise it may have been a good unit to keep as it feels well made and boosts volume as advertised.

Love the sound quality of this unit. I have two but one of them has a short in the power socket and need to tape it down to work - Hence the 3 star rating.
