Q: I have a 27" base cabinet. my opening is 24" as i have a face frame cabinet. what size do i order? can i add a 2nd shelf? same kit?

I had a contractor measure for me as my hinges were in the way. He had me order one that was smaller than the cabinet size and he added some small blocks to keep it free from the hinges. Really depends on the clearance inside of your cabinet. I did two drawers in each cabinet.

My opening measures exactly 27 inches. if it was 23.75 I probably would have to notch out 1\8 on both sides for a correct fit having had the shelf I would pruchase again and recommend just doing a little extra woodworking tpo make them fit

The lever on the left side goes and right side down and it should disengage
