I use this to check out auction vehicles for repaint and body work. Fast measurements , accurate, easy to set up, long battery life. Also comes with a nice carry case. Would recommend to anyone/shop needing to validate paint and body work or just needing to check out a used vehicle.

I never did an ultrasonic before I used this gage, but it was easy to use and worked well.

I've had this for a year and use it for checking the thickness of discharge pipes on irrigation wells. The readings are sporadic and unreliable. After 12 months, it quit working reading completely. I'd highly recommend purchasing a different product.

It’s a pain to use. I check cylinder wall thickness and it’s very inconsistent. Gel has to be used liberally for it to read.
