Claymore, Vol. 2

I'll be honest here, I never really found myself reading manga or watching anime in the slightest form. But after I was introduced to Claymore, a series that originally captivated me with it's art style has yet to disappoint me. This is actually my first manga series I've ever purchased, I don't I regret it but I instead praise it. Right from the start, excluding the art itself, (from both the anime and the manga may I add) I was immersed in the story and became hooked with the series. If you are new at either anime or manga or simply looking for a new one, give Claymore a try, it's a great story with rich characters that you care for and a plot that is interesting and engaging enough to keep you reading through its volumes. As I have said before, I have not regretted the day that I bumped into the first image of Claymore and after 12 Volumes and 26 episode views later I still don't.

Really enjoyed this volume. I loved the artwork,the story and characters and how intelligent the yoma was portrayed in this story. I actually wondered what was going on myself as they main character is tasked with solving a little case.I really do not have any thing bad to say about this particular volume. The book is a little violent and may not be for sensitive people,but other than that I have no thing to say,but good things

Feels so comforting reading this. There was always a “religion” or “organized religion” digression in these older mangas/anime where the main character would draw a criticism to the practice. Not necessarily a bad thing but it can feel a bit repetitive from series to series.Here it risks that same redundancy but I think in the long view there’s a subtle subversion of the dichotomy between “the silver eyed witch/demons” and the holy city.I might just be starved for a classic right now.

Very good arc, one of my favorite in the series as a whole. Good increase in story from the first one.

This is a great series that my husband and I both love. I had to return some because he already had some but these came in great condition and were exactly what I expected. I can't wait for the next book to come out!
