ViborgHiFi USB Cable 4.9FT/1.5M DAC A-B OCC Digital AB Audio A to B Hi-End USB Cord for Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC)

I never want to be without good sound, so when I’m forced to use the laptop for business of some sort, I wanted this cable. I like the color scheme in the pic. For an ad hoc countertop “system” it had to be short. I have a longer version of this cable that I like, for my main system, where the laptop is sometimes used to stream. I like that the connections are secure and it does the job while looking nice. I took a star off because I always give five; if a product does what I want without a hiccup ... but this did have a minor issue. With a short cable like this, that is relatively stiff, If the ends aren’t in a horizontal plane it tends to bow up, which this did. An aesthetic debit. I weighed it down At the back a little while, disconnected it and did some gentle twisting to massage it into place. I was a little afraid it might get damaged but it seemed to comply. Sounds fine.

Well made cable overall. and for the price I don't think it can be beat (This is replacing a wireworld USB Cable ). I am using the cable to from a USB over CAT5 adapter right into a Gustartd u18 DDC then on to a Gustard R26 DAC.

Comparing this with a cheap printer cable I have connecting my computer to my DAC (Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE), I can say there is no difference at all in the sound. All you have here is a standard USB printer cable, with some gold plating on the ends, with a braided sleeve slipped over it that is held on by some shrink tubing. The same kind of braided sleeves used by custom computer builders to spruce up the looks of the internal wiring on their builds. That's it. USB "audiophile" cables are a big ripoff. If you don't believe me, I would suggest that you find the USB cable reviews over at the Audio Science Review web site where they compare the performance of USB "audiophile" cables costing up to fourteen-hundred dollars to a six-dollar Amazon Basics USB 2.0 Printer Cable. There is no measurable difference. And, BTW, the Amazon Basics cable has gold plating too. If a cable meets the USB specs, the bits will get to where they need to go , no matter how much you spend on the cable. If you want a pretty USB cable that does the job, I like the braided sleeve cover, then spend a lot more and get this. Otherwise, save your money.

Fantastic cable. Great sound. Works with DAC, etc.However within less than 2 months of my purchase it is $15 cheaper...kind of pissed to be honest as I don't normally spend a lot of money on cables. And Amazon would only refund up to like $50...Last time I'm buying something from this brand.Highly recommend adding this product and waiting for a few months to get the best price.

When I first used this to replace another cheaper audio usb cable, I immediately noticed the increase in sound quality. This took me by surprise. The cable looks sturdy, but whether it looks pretty is in the eye of the beholder. Anyway I was so satisfied I bought another one not long after.However, recently I found one of them (can't tell if it's the first or second purchase) unable to transmit signal. Not for usb audio or regular usb data. It took me a while to pin it down to the cable because I never suspected it. Everything works fine if I swap that with the other one. It's only 4 months or so.

My interface started behaving very oddly, randomly disconnecting and reconnecting. Often my sound output would work but my input would not, and vise versa. The sound was riddled with crackles and buzzing. I tried several cables I had laying around my house but they all (more or less) did the same thing.I figured, "screw it," and bought what I thought to be the most over-the-top cable I could, just to make SURE it wasn't the cable. But low and behold, not only are all my problems completely gone, but there is a definite improvement in sound quality. I was skeptical at reviewers' reports of the increase in quality, but... wow, yeah, the absolute dead silence (even when cranked to 11) really does a lot for critical listening, and there's a very noticeable increase in definition, particularly in highs. Everything sounds smoother.Now, keep in mind, I may have had an unusually bad USB cable before this so you may not benefit as much as I did. But, I can say if you want to rule out a bad cable or if you simply want to be *certain* you're not being held back by it (in terms of quality), you can't go wrong with this one.

I've got a very high quality dac & audio system. I was just using a standard usb cable but decided to take the plunge with what's considered a better constructed cable. I've got another pair of Viborg rca cables in my system and decided to give their usb cable a try. Absolutely crazy the difference it makes for the $ invested. Highly recommended.

Great usb cable for computer to DAC connection for fellow audiophiles out there. Agree with the reviews in the difference in sound quality. Build quality is great to, looks and feels very nice. Recommend for the price

Im no audiofile but I know a good quality when I see one.I can hear nuances a lot better.Highs coming in very clear.Pairing with topping stacks and HD 660s
