Definitely the World's Most Difficult Puzzle!
I bought this puzzle because my daughter (27) loves cupcakes and I thought it would be a good one to frame. Somehow I missed the part about it being the World's Most Difficult Puzzle! My daughter is a wiz at puzzles and this one has even challenged her. If you are looking for a puzzle to last most of lock down, this is the one for you! We have been working on it for almost 2 weeks and will hopefully finish it today. Don't let the 500 pieces fool you...even at only 15 inches square, this one definitely lives up to its description. Enjoy!!

POOR PRODUCT, not that difficult
I'm really disappointed with this puzzle. First there were no dimensions on the box so you had no idea what you were working with. Then we were given 529 pieces not 500 and some of the extras were double pieces and we were missing some of the actual ones we needed to finish the puzzle. The box picture was not accurate at all and the ones on the sides were too small to see. The colors on the box were way off from what was printed. There were so many logos over the front that it was hard to see what you were putting together. Like other reviewers said, it was not that hard to put together once you got started because of the easy way to match the pieces to the back sides and flip. I just wish I had al the pieces I need to finish it. Not sure how to get my money back but I'm going to figure that out.

Interesting Challenge
Figuring out how to solve this puzzle was fun. Once I understood how it worked, it didn't take much longer than any other 500 piece puzzle. It would be nice to find more puzzles available in this two-sided format. The online description didn't make it very clear--every piece on the inside of the puzzle is shaped exactly the same.As I mentioned, this is a two-sided puzzle . . . but the reverse side is turned 90 degrees. (Hint: there IS an axis of symmetry in the puzzle) The result of this is that almost every piece has a twin. The exception are the pieces that run the length of the line of symmetry--they are identical on both sides. But, there were a couple of problems with the puzzle.1. The colors are not as bright and clear as portrayed in the picture. The whole puzzle had kind of a yellowish cast to it.2. Most significant though, was the frustration factor in trying to separate the pieces. On the one hand, it's nice that they fit snugly, so that sections could be flipped over without falling apart. HOWEVER, the pieces fit so snugly that a great amount of wrestling was necessary every time a piece needed to be disconnected (which was often).Worse than that, the layers of the puzzle were not glued well and many pieces were starting to separate. I love to redo my puzzles, so I'm very careful with them. I was not rough on the puzzle, but it was clear it wouldn't hold up to being assembled and disassembled many times. It was SO hard to disassemble the finished puzzle that I gave up, since I will be returning it anyway(due to the pieces separating by layer).(As I compare the puzzle to the online product picture, I notice that not only does the actual puzzle have a yellowish cast--but about 15% of the top and 15% of the right side have been cropped and are not a part of the puzzle. )I wish I could give a better review--and I wish the puzzle would have been of better quality, so I could have kept it in my collection. :(
