Make sure the vac is set for Lithium batteries
I havent actually put these in yet still using a set I bought in late 2019. To get Li-ion batteries to work properly in the old XV vacuums you have to use a program called TeraTerm to change internal battery settings from Type 1 Ni-MH 12-cell to Type 3 Li-ION 12-cell. If you dont, you get charge errors and not good performance. The batteries I'm using now originally had a run time of 1hr 45min each for 3 charges per house cleaning after about 3 1/2 yrs its down to about an hr for each of the 3 runs in a cleaning cycle. This is still awsome compared to 45 min x3 on Nickel batteries which drop to 20 min after 6 to 9 months. Occasionally as of late it runs dead before getting back to the charger. I love my old XV vacuum with these batteries so I got a spare set of batteries to pop in when the current ones give up the ghost. I hated the vac with nickel batteries it was so much weaker on carpet especially and the batteries never even would last one year. I used to run a house clean 3 times a week but with these batteries twice a week is good enuff. I have 2 dogs and 1,400sf it vacuums mostly over hardwood and tile, and 2 rooms with full carpet. We also have several throw rugs it runs over. It still usually gets most all of it in 2 runs leaving the 3rd run to get whats left. If I get 3or 4 more years from this set I may upgrade to a newer robot vacuum 🤔

Don't bother with this battery. Look else where
I bought this battery for two reasons1 - its advertised capacity is the largest you can find and the product description states 70-90 minutes of run time2 - it is a Lithium-Ion batteryso when I installed the batteries in my Neato XV-21 a realized that its run time worst than the older NiMh batteries. Even though I set the Neato with the New Battery option. Also frequently Neato was complaining about Battery Error 0002 which requires a soft or hard reset to get the Neato to become functional again. I run the Neato 5-6 times from 100% full charge to the Battery Low message on the display but the battery longevity did not improve. Additionally, when Neato runs out of juice, it even can not make it its dock to chargethen I reached out to the support team of Nastima and asked them if there was anything else they can suggest or help with before I return the batteries to Amazon. So they send me an instruction document and tried to send me an application and drivers to install on a windows computer. Which took a few days for them to get the applications to me but that was okay. Anyways, the remedy they suggest is making a low-level configuration change on the Neato charging algorithm for their LiOn battery. First of all, such a thing not mentioned anywhere in their product description or product guide but more importantly it is a meticulous work at your end to get it done and you.must have good understating on Windows operating system to get this done. The funny part was that their document reads the command you need to apply on the Neato was wrong so Neato does not understand the command. well, I found the correct syntax and got it all done and was hoping this would fix the issues but NO!battery run time only improved to 50-55 minute run time vacuuming on the hardwood floor . way below what Nastima advertise which is 70-90 minutes run time. But there is more. my Neato starts getting hung while charging on its dock. It becomes completely dysfunctional, none of the button response and the soft reset does not help at all. I had to remove the batteries for 10-15 minutes to get it back to life. And the same was happening when Neato running out the battery in the middle of the cleaning cycle it got stuck and becomes unresponsive. So it cannot go back its dock to charge up and complete the cleaning cycle. And to be able to reset it you have to do a hard reset...So I reached out to the support and reported what was happening. And their response was something wrong with the battery and their offer was refunding 80% of the purchase price and let me keep their faulty battery or return to Amazon. That was an amazing resolution. still cannot understand why I would want to pay some amount of money that does not work and causes a lot of issues??? Especially wasting my 10 days to get this work instead of return.so long story short, don't bother with this vendor and their products unless you want to experiment with a science project and deal with customer support. look for other options that are much better than this product and other vendors that really provide great customer support

Who Knew Weird Was Perfect?
Weird fit in the ear, until you get used to it. Other than that, perfection! Long battery life, quick recharge. Exactly what I needed!

Definitely an improvement over NiMh
I've owned the XV-11 for about 9 years. During that time, I've been purchasing the Powerextra NiMh (7.2V 4000 mAh) battery pair replacements about ever 2 years. On the first 2 or 3 orders, I was getting a solid 18 months of use out of them running a few times a month, then over the next 2 to 6 months their life would fall off quickly, many times such that the XV-11 would either not get back to base at all before dying, or would get about 1 foot from the base and fail to back all the way in. The last pair that I purchase were failing in less than 4 months, so instead of fooling around with warranty, I just purchased these instead on a whim after eyeballing other Lithium Ion types for a year or two. There were no reviews when I purchased these, but they were only 2/3 the cost of the other Lithium options. I knew going in that there may be issues with errors and/or battery resets based on other similar batteries and forum reading, which these batteries also experience. If the vac sits without running for more than a few days, a red light and error will appear, requesting a reboot of the vac each time (something I have never experienced before with other NiMh batteries). Surprisingly, after hitting the button, the vac does in fact reboot just fine each time, but then says that the batteries need charging which it does in just a minute or two, and then it takes off cleaning. I always tell the vac that it has new batteries when replacing using the menus.Because the vac can recover from whatever the issue has been so far, I'm going to give a positive overall review of the battery pair. The first 4 or 5 runs I was getting between 70 and 80 minutes of continuous operation before the unit had to return for charging. Today maybe 10 runs in, I timed it, and it ran for 94 minutes before needed a recharge. I was never able to get even 60 minutes out of the NiMh batteries, so I'm pleased with the run time.I'm going to knock off one star for the runtime being only about 3/4 of that claimed, and because these batteries do cause errors on the unit (although easily cleared thus far). They claim 1000 charges for this battery, if I could get 500 charges I would be satisfied for the fifty five bucks spent on the pair. At the time of writing this review, these are no longer available, so not sure what's happening there, but seems unfortunate for what could be a decent battery option.

Does not last long
Failed after a few months. It was great at first, then, the charge seems less and less, a few more weeks, it does not have enough juice to leave the charge station. I don't know how many cycles these are supposed to last, mine does not last 20 charges.
