Total Boat 5:1 Epoxy Resin (Quart), Clear

Excellent epoxy, wets out cloth well and easy to work with

Very pleased with its quality, clarity and set up. No noticeable shrinking.

This is my second 4.5gallon purchase of the Total Boat 5:1 epoxy resin. This is a great epoxy product for rebuilding wood core boat transoms, stringers and bulkheads...I would highly recommend. Gave it a 4-star rating because I thought I was buying a 5-gallon container only to find I received 4.46-gallon container. In the future I would buy the 4.5 gallon "kit" option.

Great product BUT don't do as I did. This item is only the resin. I saw the picture and thought my purchase was for resin AND hardener because the photo shows two different sized bottles. I had to make a second purchase to get the hardener, which was more than the kit that comes with the pumps. BTW - BUY THE PUMPS! Proportion is key as is fully mixing epoxy. Still a good product. I will buy more.

The container collapses when I use the pump that is supplied with the kit order!If the latest order comes with the same defect I will stop buying this product xxx

Bond very strong, easy to use. Used it for bonding strips of wood (lap strake) in small boat building. Used it with slow hardener, not tried it with the clear hardner variant, but will for sure do that when ready.

This is great stuff easy to work with and doesn't have any odour no stinky smell like other Resins. Using this brand all the time.Ken

There are many marine epoxies of similar characteristics available on the internet. It can be hard to tell which ones are quality and so in the past I tended to stick with established brands ie West, MAS, and Raka. I would certainly use this resin again, especially for the price.
