The pieces are thinner wood so you can't just jam them together so they may need supervision. But it's not so complicated that if you guide them with the first few that they can't do it themselves.

instructions arnt the best, but i wasnt expecting them to be especially since most of the writing was in chinese? i think... but for what they are worth it kept the kids entertained for a while trying to figure out how they went together

Let me start out by saying that these kits are adorable and you can put them together, HOWEVER, compared to another set I got these were a nightmare to put together. There is no way on this earth that a kid could manage this on their own, least of all because you'd need glue. The first issue, the instructions are just a number system as the rest of the instructions are in Japanese? I know it's clearly marked that way, but normally there are English instructions with kits like these...Not in this one. The number system isn't as organized as it could be, but after a bit of work you can suss out how things go.That isn't the biggest issue, however, it's the fact that not all the pieces are cut all the way through the wood leaving you to jimmy rig your way through the rest of the wood in order to free that piece. I legit had to saw into the wood to free a few pieces that wouldn't pop free on their own and I did crack a few simply because they wouldn't come free.Naturally, because the pieces weren't so easy to pop free I was left with a bit of a mess and puzzle pieces that didn't look nearly as smooth or 'finished' as the others with splinters here or there. So on a whole, I wouldn't recommend this set from an assembly standpoint, however, if you're okay with working hard on setting these suckers up they're pretty darn cute.

Bought these for my 11 year old grandson , he loved them.

These puzzles are terrible. The wood is so fragile, it broke so many times trying to put these puzzles together. It's terrible having to glue the parts together and it still doesn't work. Don't but the terrible puzzles, just a waste of money and time. DON'T BUT THESES PUZZLES!!!!!!

i bought these when my grand sons were little,it is fun to work these with them, but it can be very time consuming, but fun11111

If your kid has a day off from school, this puzzle is a good way to keep them occupied. Once they put it together, it can be painted, if you have a paint set at home. it seems to be made of a think wood type material. Its 3 puzzles of dinosaurs.
