It's 8 Inches - Pretty Small - Waffles Are Cookie Sized, But Easy To Make and Waffles Are Great
Pros:Although it doesn't come apart, it is easy to clean with a sponge and a kitchen towel. It is small so it stores easilyIt makes just the right amount of waffle for one person or child (about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of batter makes a waffle depending on how thick you make your mix.)It is extremely straightforward and easy to use.I'm not scared of getting burned by it like my last waffle maker that liked to close on me unexpectedly. It's sturdy and heavy. Over all it appears to be well constructed.Cons:When you first get it, run a test batch of batter through a few times, after you clean it, to remove all the chemical residue. When I first heated it up the chemical odor had me opening up windows and turning on a fan - you definitely do not want that in your cooking! My test batch of batter was 1 cup of self-rising flour, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, water. That was enough for three waffles but could have stretched it to four waffles with a thinner batter. Most appliances like this I would run a test batch of batter through first, not just this particular waffle iron. The waffles are much smaller than I had anticipated. Think - heart shaped cookies and you about have it. They vary in height depending on your batter but 1/2 inch is pushing it. Most of mine were a little less than that. The lights on the unit are very hard to see on / off. They're not very bright.Over All: Very easy to use, the easiest I've ever used actually. Would not work if you're doing a big family waffle morning, but just right for kid portions or a side item. Easy to store and clean.

Great for thin nordic waffles
The media could not be loaded. Makes thin Nordic waffles. They are great for making breakfast sandwiches and desserts. The waffles thos iron makes are great for freezing. Anyway, the waffle iron is sturdy and has indicator lights to tell you when it is ready. Took about 30 Seconds to heat up. I like that the nonStock coating is Pfas-free. Only bad thing is the cord is short-2 feet max.

Traditional heart-shaped thin but not too thin waffles like the ones everyone grew up with. Except if you are Belgian.
Wonderful for NON-Belgian style waffles and traditionally heart-shaped waffles like typically done in other European countries like Norway, Germany, etc. Not as thick as Belgian style but definitely not too thin - just right! If you are German they taste best with powdered sugar and applesauce. Or with whipped cream and cherry jelly. If you are American or Canadian they taste best with maple syrup. The waffle maker itself: I was surprised about the good sturdy quality of this 28 Dollar device and how fast it heats up. It has a ceramic non stick coating and you don't need to use any oil or spray at all, the waffles can be taken out easily with a fork when done. One waffle take about 3 minutes to get done and we like to have this little waffle maker right with us on the table at breakfast now on Sundays. The greatest thing about this waffle maker though is that it gets very hot on the outside surface. You have to teach your kids not to touch it or only to touch the handle that has been conveniently mounted by the manufacturer for exactly that purpose. If they still touch the hot surface then this great waffle maker will finally teach your kids that they have to listen to you. It should be given out to all American moms out there I think ;-)

Thin waffles but love that its PFOA/PTFE free
Thin waffles but it works well and love that it’s PFOA/PTFE free. It was hard finding a waffle maker that was free from those chemicals. Just be mindful that the waffles are more like crepes.

Makes Fantastic Keto Waffles!!
I have a Belgium Waffle Maker that I've used for many years. I love waffles and pancakes, especially in the cold of the winter months. Name a better comfort breakfast than waffles, bacon, and an easy-over egg. You can't. Stop trying to think of a clever answer. Here's the problem; I got old, and I got fat. So I started doing keto a while ago. Pleased with the weight loss, but miss some of the dishes I used to enjoy. Oddly enough, one of the big challenges of keto alternative recipes, is the texture and mouth feel of the food. (I have yet to find a really good keto bread recipe).I tried many keto waffle recipes in my trusty old Belgium Waffle Maker, and they were eatable, but the texture was always disappointing. On a whim, I decided I needed to try making a thinner waffle, and ordered this unit. What a difference! Give this recipe a try using this iron, if you want some real (keto) waffle satisfaction:4 large eggs4 oz cream cheese6 tablespoons almond flour2 tablespoon coconut oil or melted butter1 teaspoon baking powder2 tablespoons Erythritol8 drops maple flavoring1. Add all ingredients to a blender (I use a little Ninja cup blender) and blend until smooth.2. Use the Euro Cuisine WM520 Heart Shaped Thin Waffle Maker. Set heat control to position 2 (two dots). Plate temp should be about 305f to 310f.3. No grease on the plates is required. Pour the batter into a pre-heated waffle maker. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.Makes about 5 waffles. I top them with some melted butter, and low carb maple syrup! This is a great little waffle maker for the money!
