Worked out of the box
Received this drive surprisingly fast. Drive had minor wear and tear, but nothing crazy. Disassembled my CECH 3004A PS3, removed old drive, installed this one, tested it and it works, no reinstalling of operating system or other manipulation required, it just works. No issues in vertical or horizontal position. I think it little bit pricey, but I want to keep my original PS3 running as long as possible, so no problem with that.
