Worked perfectly, to solder a fan back on the motherboard in a Mac Mini
This was a bit of a life-saver. I had taken my Mac Mini apart to discover what my upgrade options were (a disappointing experience, to be sure), and my disappointment was punctuated when I realized I had inadvertently removed the housing for the fan connection from the motherboard. I don't know if it was ever properly soldered in the first place, but I knew that without the ability to cool, it would not function properly. I have very little soldering experience, but after watching some videos, and using this solder, I was able to get it working again. The connector had 4 pins, and I knew I needed something super thin, to avoid spilling over to the neighboring pins. And gratefully, by the grace of God, I was able to get it working. Happy with this purchase.

Good product.
I bought this solder to work on very small components. Unfortunately I did not have the repair skills necessary to utilize this solder, which I discovered when I melted a glob of solder over two contacts, shorting the components and killing the device I was attempting to repair. Nonetheless, the solder behaved as expected. It is extremely fine, and seems to melt at slightly higher temperatures compared to other solders. But it is fairly rigid, which makes it easy to handle, which is a nice plus.

Perfect thin Solder
Item is perfect. not a lot of cleaning needed, but a little cleanup needed for the Flux Rosin core. other than that it is easy and a breeze to use. Makes for easy fixing of those smaller components that take less time to heat up. Perfect for the price!

Good Solder
I have been using a larger diameter solder. Wasteful. This solder takes a bit more to push into the circuitry but works 99.99% better on smaller circuits than the larger diameter models.

Great for SMD work
Because it is so thin, this solder works very well with SMD components, which are very small and require less heat than thru-hole components. Together with a conical tip soldering pen and a lighted hands-free magnifying glass, SMD work becomes much easier.
