Pro-Mark 7A Oak Drum Sticks offers Perfect Weight, balance, durability and good reach.
For this being an oak wood stick, this Pro-Mark 7A offers a perfect weight, balance and reach without causing fatigue, and, while slightly heavier than standard Hickory 7A drumsticks, it can even be we’ll suited for Jazz. Great for developing finger conditioning, control and speed on Drum Practice Pads. Haven’t worn it yet but expect it to provide the durability associated with Oak but wonder if it is prone to splintering as some woods do.

These are very durable
I like these oak drumsticks for my son they lasted a whole lot longer than the others that I had purchased in the past the other side purchased would be broke within 2 days of him receiving them he's once a blasted almost 3 months now and yes there are four pairs however that's still a lot longer than 2 days each the bad part is it's really not the bad part considering you get what you pay for I guess is the cost

Just great sticks.
There's nothing like a Pro-Mark Shira Kashi Oak drumstick. If these 727s feel good to you, you won't be unhappy with how well it can help your playing.

Much flex, Very style adjustments
Shira Kashi oak is a little too flexible of a wood for me… feels more like a marimba mallet’s flex, when playing clean double strokes… good buy, but I think I prefer hickory after the experience.

Best sticks on the market !!
Shira Kashi aka Japanese white oak, is so durable it’s crazy!!! They don’t chip or shave off as easily as traditional hickory stick. They have a different feel to them due to the denser wood material. Overall best sticks on the market for not that much more price range wise than a traditional hickory made sticks!! Well worth the money !! I still have my first pair of Promark Japan Oak sticks since the summer of 2020 that I still use today !! I use the 5A and 7A woodtip. Highly recommend!!
