I originally bought this to use with melting candy but that little project fell to the wayside, however I was testing it by making ice and that actually worked pretty nicely. Cute little bird shaped ice "cubes" to put in a drink for parties (although I would probably want a few more of the molds if I were making that many at one time).The ice did not break when I was taking it out of the mold. The bird came out intact, but ice does show all it's flaws so if you're looking for a completely transparent little ice sculpture I'm sure there are ways to achieve that, but I'm okay with a few lines/cracks as it adjusts to temperature changes. It's small so it's going to melt quickly anyway in a drink.

great detail

Of all my soap molds, this is the most difficult to remove in perfect shape. Usually either the beak or tail feathers are misshapen or slightly broken. Still love it. The 3D Bird Soap Mold Small's finished soap weight (melt and pour) is 51 grams.

Easy to demoed and very detailed. Silicone is soft and pliable.

I was completely surprised by how well my birds came out with plaster of paris!! The tail tips chip when taking it out but a little sanding and reshaping worked. The key is the consistency of the paster and tapping the mold on counter. Easy cleaning and now I want to try with resin and flower petals.

Hole is too small too hard to take out tip of the wings broke 😢

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to remove the fondant from the mold.

I am making concrete birds and this makes the cutest little guy! Definitely have to make sure to get the concrete down into the tail area
