PERFECTION
I am extremely pleased by the ease of install, and the brightness of the product.My 6 year old son has no issues plugging the USB port in on the base or into the wall.The only issue I have run into is the USB cable was not long enough for the intended space. I had to give it a longer cord.In Military ships, they use red lights to assist the seamen go to sleep. I don't recommend using the white, blue, or green lights when trying to sleep. Too much blue light makes it difficult to sleep. The red light is perfect though, and has helped my son sleep more restfully at night.

Major Spidey fan loves his light. The light is dim but enough light to move about. He went through the remote and decided the blue is his favorite color.

You can remove the cardboard like backing with a box cutter.
There is a cardboard like backing attached to the acrylic plate that LOOKS and feels like it CANNOT be removed, but it CAN! Grab a box cutter or something sharp and with a point and carefully make a slit to the cardboard backing, then start peeling off the backing. It peels off pretty easily after you first make a slit to the cardboard. When I first saw the acrylic plate it looks as if the cardboard is affixed but I knew the acrylic plate was meant to be clear so I tried with the box cutter and it worked!

Good not great
Seems like low quality but if I remember it was fairly cheap anyway. Fun night light for son but the part where it plugs in broke fairly quickly so now it only works with batteries. Also the button to choose colors is not working as it originally did. Id say if you can put this in a place where kids will not be touching at all ("just for looking at"), then you will probably be able to enjoy for a long time and get your money's worth easily. But if you have kids that aren't super aware of how to be gentle with their things, its not going to last that long
