As with my other purchase , like that the tool is tested to meet specs before shipped. A little time with the tech on new ones would work wonders for the mfg reputation. Good price, good saw, great service throughAmazon with price and timely delivery. The seller answered my questions and sent a good piece that works.Highly recommend!

Seller does not qualify for lifetime warranty replacement from Rigid Tools
The saw is very impressive and was in perfect condition with all parts securely packaged. Saved $50 over price at Home Depot. The only issue was that the seller does not partner with Ridgid tools to offer the lifetime replacement warranty. Since I am just a home owner using occasionally, I will take the chance and keep it.

Battery eater
I used a fully charged 2 Ahr battery and new carbide rip blade and it would ONLY cut 6" thru 1/2" thick plywood before it bogged down and refused to cut. And It weighs almost as much as a hard powered saw which never runs out of power. Not suitable for most use.

Same saw as in the stores, but you don't get any warranty from Ridgid.
The saw works fine; but, when I called Ridgid to set up the lifetime warranty they said that since this is not a network seller, there is no warranty for the saw. So consider that if you're thinking about buying. In the store it's a lifetime warranty and here it was none. Hopefully nothing goes bad with it.
