It works
Easy to apply and it works. As evidenced by my having missed the ends of two boards when I installed them last week, and after just one rain -> sun cycle the ends of those two boards are already showing a few small cracks while all the rest show nothing.

Easy to Use
I want to first say that the seller of this item was great at sending a replacement after the first shipment was damaged by the carrier. The seller responded in less than a day to get a replacement to me.The sealer itself was easy to use and cured from a milky liquid to a semi-opaque waxy finish after absorption. This is purely a waxy sealer to keep your end cuts from drying out and cracking. It’s not for surfaces that will see foot traffic (waxy = slippery). Clean up was super easy, just warm water and soap and all my tools were cleaned.Only time will tell if my end cuts will not crack; with product absorption seen on the first application, I could only assume it’ll do the job perfectly.Definitely recommend.

Great end sealer
Was recommended for use on the batu deck boards. Did a great job at sealing the end grain.

1 Qt more than enough
I put down 300 square feet of tigerwood decking with a picture frame border. It's mandatory when cutting any kind of hardwood. What's another $20 when you spend $2000+ on exotic hardwood? The one quart is more than enough to put a generous coat on all fresh cuts. An expensive small brush is just fine for the application of the wax. Make sure you put this stuff on the cuts and make sure you fasten the deck boards down so they don't cup.

Beautiful finish, doesn't last
The product is especially formulated for ipe, which is what I'm using for a small deck resurfacing project. I made a little trial deck as shown in the picture; four ipe boards. Two were finished with boiled linseed oil and two with ipe oil. They are essentially identical following the application. Then I let the trial deck sit out all summer and into the fall, probably five months. Look what happened. All four boards look the same after weathering. And the rich beauty of the fresh finish is gone. This is not a multi-year test but I think it's pretty convincing. Neither oil finish lasted very long and the subject Ipe Oil doesn't seem to offer more value than old fashioned boiled linseed oil. How can this be?

Message to seller
Product is great. But I would recommend the seller use at least 3 kid clamps, bubble wrap, and a zip lock bag for packaging.
