The media could not be loaded. Lovely simple stories with some good morals. They really engage the child. Our son has a real thirst for reading and this book has some words that challenged him to begin with, but with the pictures he was able to work them out from context.The illustrations are sometimes very simple but sometimes quite beautiful, the font is clear and of a good size.

Really lovely stories for your little reader.As you go through the book the stories get a little harder so it’s fantastic to see their progress.

the illustration is top notch in these books. My LO read these stories happily whilst poring over the drawings. very helpful in improving her reading skills.

bought for my five year old granddaughter who is just starting to read by herself. On her mum's request. I'm just sad I don't get to sit with her while she reads it.

Wonderful selection of stories to help my son learn to read. Big fans of Julia Donaldson books. Would definitely buy again.

Brilliant book. Perfect for my 6 year old. He knows his phonics so can sound out about 96% of the words without asking for help.
