This is what I was breathing in my rented apartment. I was so sick and the apt Property manager would not give written permission for a licensed Mold inspector to come in.The entire testing kit and report is compiled by Biologists and is very thorough. I’d highly recommend!!

Simple test to check for mold issues.

Was camping on and off all summer and kept coming back to this weird musty smell in the house. No visible mold, but it was humid and seemed to get worse when running the a/c - so figured it wouldn't hurt to check.Results inside of the house were definitely better looking than the "outside air" and results were overall better than I anticipated they would be.Out of curiosity, I did the vent test first with just the fan and then second with a/c running. Wish there was no mold at all, but - hey - at least the inside dish doesn't look like the outside dish.Overall good test to use, but did remove one star because the "guide" was oversimplified and didn't provide sufficient data for identification. For me, not the biggest deal in the world (I know how to locate proper resources and also own my own microscope), but the lack of adequate information could render the test useless for others who do not wish to send their tests in or pay the fee to do so.Photos: beginning and at 120 hours

We set these throughout our house after finding mold in our basement! It was super helpful. We left them out for 2.5 days hoping to see more of what type of mold that we had rather than the quantity (as another brand recommended). I was able to compare it to the online guide as well as cross check it with several websites. We feel equipped to do some deep cleaning and rip out carpets, as it appears to only be allergenic and not toxic, and will use this product again in a few months to determine if our efforts were successful.

Scam. Got a variety of gnarly looking mold in every dish. (Stored in same place and still sealed in plastic wrap.) I imagine if I would have done test promptly the sight of this mold would have scared me into purchasing whatever over priced mold diagnostic this fraudulent company offers.

I was tested for allergies and mold came up strong so we decided to test our residence. Setting up the dishes was fairly easy. Found mold spores in one area of our home so now we are getting air filters that are supposed to eliminate the spores. It was an interesting experiment to set up a dish for each room of our home and watch for the spores. They actually took a fair amount of time to develop, 4 days. Downloading the publication that has illustrations for identifying what kinds of mold you might have is necessary. I would recommend following the instructions that came with the kits. I'll be evaluating our air filters to see if they take care of the problem enough so I can breathe better and eliminate my constant nasal congestion.

It shows molds etc but the website vs what the sample looks like is fairly useless. Maybe sending in the sample is better but you can just pay someone to come do that for the same price.

minimal competence required to set out and label 10 ! collections. They tell you how to set aside, check at 2,3,4,5 days, & You decide to exam which area, or worst, or how many - $40 each is cheap money for the real thing. As said by others, they Cannot give CFU/ m^3 because any disturbance of still-air (window open, someone walks by) affects count; & they are wisely Not Liable if later measurements are different.When I called to ask, I got no-hold answer from a PhD microbiologist who explained, patiently!, everything I wanted to know about this stuff! Super-Highly Recommend
