Q: There are two different lengths shown in the listing, one says 47.50" and another says 57.50". Which is it?

Tank is 47.5" long. The outlet pipe adds another 4.25"

Q: Does anyone know where I can get a cap for the end of the pipe? Its outside diameter is 3-7/8". I want to seal it off completely.

Any hardware store. Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, etc.

Q: Instructions say dont use straps, can you mount it just by the flange and is that strong enough to support it?

This same style tank is mounted under a forest river R-Pod camper at my local dealer. It has z-channel brackets that span between frame rails holding up the shoulders of the tank. I called the dealer and they are able to order the brackets from the manufacturer for $38 each. I had my father in law weld me two that match before the dealer got back to me. Still working on painting and mounting them.
