Q: What warranty is included with these speakers? Is there an additional cost for the warranty?

I believe there is a Klipsch warranty but only when you purchase from an approved reseller. You can see the approved vendor list at Klipsch here - https://www.klipsch.com/authorized-online-dealers. When you purchase a product on Amazon, the Seller is clearly listed below the product. There are several vendors who sell the Klipsch AW-650 but only a few are approved Klipsch vendors. On a related note, I'm dumfounded by the massive price discrepancy for a set of these speakers. I have an option to purchase a set for ~330.00 or ~550.00 all because of what Klipsch dictates. Unless these are forgeries, I don't see why Klipsch can't stand behind their product regardless.

Q: How is the bass on these? i have bose 251 and they sound great but very little bass. looking for a little more bass.

In a word, excellent for a 6.5 inch driver, which alone is a significant improvement over the 251's 5.5 inch driver. I have not felt the need to add outdoor subs although I'm sure I'd like the sound even better if I did. The voicing combination of the horn loaded tweeter with the 6.5 inch middie-woofer is quite good with the 650's, especially if you drive them with enough power.

Q: If mounted vertically is there a way to tilt it down? It looks like it only swivels left to right

Seems like even though the supplied brackets can't allow it to tilt down if you mount it vertically (they only swivel from side-to-side), it does have the additional threading to mount it vertically on 3rd party brackets, which should be able to tilt in all directions. Obviously an additional expense to buy the other mounting brackets, though.

Q: Might be a foolish question, but can these speakers be out in the elements (all 4 seasons of weather) uncovered and still be okay?

They’re made to withstand all 4 seasons but it’s smart to use them under eaves so they don’t get cooked by the sun, they’re made out of plastic and the daily exposure to sun rays would make the plastic weaker with time, never expose them directly to the elements, try to hide them from the sun and rain if possible without blocking their sound dispersion, if you do that they easily would last you 12-15 years or even longer.
