Revco mens Waist Welding Shirt, As Shown, Large US

I am writing this review with my husbands use of this jacket in mind. Let me start off by saying he is 6 feet tall and 185 lbs and works out, so his arms are pretty thick- now you can get an idea of his size for reference to what size jacket you might need. We ordered the large hoping it would fit perfectly and it did. He is very happy with the amount of room he has in it after wearing a t-shirt underneath. He can't wear his uniform shirt underneath because it's to thick but he said he wouldn't want to anyways, because this welding jacket is nice and warm. And wearing both would have been too warm. He is a mechanic and works in a big shop which they heat very well so he said he takes his uniform shirt off first.The quality of this jacket is excellent and he has had it now for several months and no issues. He used to come home with bright red "sunburn" looking patches on his neck, arms and top of chest above t-shirt line. But now he is safe from any skin damage. Thank you welding jacket. WE highly recommend this for EVERYONE who welds. Not to mention it should be approved to wear in ANY shop because it is classified as saftey equipment and I don't believe there is any owner/boss stupid enough to tell someone they can't wear protective clothing while welding. This jacket just arrived today and I have not yet used it but wanted to give sizing and comfort info.First, I usually wear an XL sweatshirt, more for comfort than anything. I'm a guy, 5-10, 190. Based on the sizing info on the product page, I bought a Large and I'd say it's perfect with a tee shirt on. I could still wear a light jacket underneath if I needed to.It's pretty lightweight in terms of thickness, but not in a bad way. In other words, you're not going to roast wearing it.Snaps are perfect, better than a zipper.I'll update later if any issues arise while actually using it.

This BSX welding jacket is a great buy. It wasn't the cheapest option, but after reading other reviews, I felt confident in buying this jacket. I'm so glad I did! It looks great (love the colors) and protects me where I need protecting. My only problem taking the time to put it on. Sometimes I have a quick welding job to do in the hot garage and I don't feel like putting it on....until hot spatter lands on my forearm! When worn properly (including the neck snaps), it is very safe and durable. It does get a bit warm, so air conditioning and/or a fan helps. I'd certainly recommend this jacket though, and I'd buy it again if I needed another one.

Very durable for a time. But I used it for a time, very light good to use in the summer when hot, welding and cutting on the job sites, after a few jobs just wore it down, not like a leather welding jacket.

Nice welding jacket. Comfortable yet durable enough to hold off those sparks and fireballs. I also got the matching welding hat. Gotta love those flames lol

Well, I ordered this jacket for my 22 year old son who is currently in welding school. He has been complaining of burns on his arms from overhead welding. I was concerned and quickly ordered this garment based on good reviews...I have never given a review on anything until now. I must say it saved my son from bursting into flames and that is a very good thing!I recommend this jacket for anyone who likes NOT being burned or singed from welding. My son loves it. He says it is a perfect fit over his t-shirt and it's lightweight, but it also protects as it describes. By the way, I personally like the "loud flames" on the arms...adds a little flare to it!This is a good buy! From one loving mom to all!!

Awesome welding jacket. This is my first and likely only welding jacket I will ever get. This jacket it fairly light and comfortable, which makes wearing it for a while easy. I’ve blasted this thing to the moon with sparks from welding and grinding for years and have only one very small burn hole to prove it. Great jacket, looks cool and professional, and would recommend to anyone who is starting out or to those with more experience.
